Camp of Moroni

Camp of Moroni is Moroni’s camp, where the people of Lehi fled and “appealed unto him for assistance” after leaving the land of Lehi. A maid servant whom Morianton had beaten also “fled, and came over to the camp of Moroni,” reporting Morianton’s intentions to flee northward (Alma 50:27-31).

Moroni sent an army “with their camp” to stop the people of Morianton at the narrow pass by the sea. Teancum led that army, slew Morianton, defeated his army, took the people prisoners, and “returned to the camp of Moroni” (Alma 50:33-35).
