Archeantus was a Nephite who fell by the sword in a battle against the Lamanites that the Nephites did not win, late in the fourth century A.D. He is named only in an epistle from the Nephite commander Mormon to his son Moroni, where Mormon reports the loss alongside two others, Luram and Emron, and a great number of the Nephites’ “choice men” (Moroni 9:2).
