Com was a Jaredite king, son of Coriantum, who reigned in his father’s stead for forty-nine years (Ether 9:25). He was the father of Heth and of other sons and daughters (Ether 9:25). During his reign the people again spread across the land and great wickedness returned, and his son Heth took up the old secret plans to destroy him (Ether 9:26).
Heth dethroned Com, killing him with his own sword, and reigned in his stead (Ether 9:27).
