Zenephi was a Nephite military commander during the final wars against the Lamanites. He is named once, in a letter Mormon wrote to his son Moroni: at the city of Sherrizah, many widows and their daughters remained, and the army of Zenephi carried away the provisions the Lamanites had not already taken, leaving the survivors to wander in search of food. Mormon reports that many old women fainted by the way and died (Moroni 9:16).
