Rock Cavity of Lehi’s Sons is the hiding place reached by Nephi and his brothers after their attempt to exchange family property for the brass plates. Laban thrust them out and sent servants to kill them after seeing that their property “was exceedingly great” (1 Nephi 3:23-27).
The brothers “did flee before the servants of Laban” and left their property behind. They escaped into the wilderness, were not overtaken, and “hid ourselves in the cavity of a rock” (1 Nephi 3:23-27).
