Josh was a Nephite city burned with fire, together with its inhabitants, at the time of the destruction that accompanied the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The voice of Christ, heard across the land after three days of darkness, named Josh among the cities of Laman, Gad, and Kishkumen, all burned because their people cast out the prophets and stoned those sent to declare their wickedness to them (3 Nephi 9:10).
