Hill Comron lay near the valley of Shurr, where Coriantumr camped his army during the final Jaredite wars against Shiz. After driving Shiz’s forces back to the land of Corihor, Coriantumr gathered his armies on the hill and sounded a trumpet to summon Shiz’s army to battle (Ether 14:28). Shiz’s men came out and were driven back, came a second time and were driven back again, and came a third time, when the fighting grew severe (Ether 14:29). In the battle Shiz struck Coriantumr and gave him many deep wounds; having lost his blood, Coriantumr fainted and was carried off as though he were dead (Ether 14:28-30).
