Gimgimno was a city destroyed at the death of Jesus Christ. In the great storm and upheaval of the thirty-fourth year (3 Nephi 8:5-7), the voice of the Lord declared that the city of Gadiandi, the city of Gadiomnah, the city of Jacob, and the city of Gimgimno had all been sunk, with hills and valleys made in their places, and their inhabitants buried in the depths of the earth. The stated reason was to hide the wickedness and abominations of the people, so that the blood of the prophets and the saints would no longer come up to the Lord against them (3 Nephi 9:8). The city is named only in this verse, and the record gives no account of its location, people, or history apart from its destruction.
