예수님의 십자가 처형 순간 파괴된 도시

개디앤다이 성

The city of Gadiandi was one of the cities mentioned in the Book of Mormon that faced severe destruction at the time of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. This catastrophe was divinely decreed as a direct consequence of the iniquity and abominations of its inhabitants. In a solemn pronouncement by the voice of Christ, it was revealed that Gadiandi, along with other neighboring cities, had been sunk into the earth, and as a result, its location was transformed into hills and valleys. This topographical change served a twofold purpose: to bury the inhabitants, which included both the wicked and the righteous whose blood had been shed, and to hide the wickedness and abominations of its people from the sight of the Lord. The fate of Gadiandi is illustrative of the severe judgment that befell certain peoples in the Book of Mormon, emphasizing the gravity of sin and the consequences of unrepentant behaviors (3 Nephi 9:8).
