Lamoni’s household was the royal household of the Lamanite king Lamoni, the setting for events during Ammon’s mission. After Ammon and the queen sank to the earth overpowered by the Spirit, Ammon saw the Spirit of the Lord poured out upon the Lamanites, whom he called his brethren, and he too fell to his knees in prayer and thanksgiving until he sank down; thus Ammon, Lamoni, and the queen all three lay on the earth (Alma 19:14).
Seeing the king and queen fallen, Lamoni’s servants called on the name of the Lord in their might until they too had all fallen, save one of the Lamanitish women named Abish, who had been converted to the Lord for many years on account of a vision her father had seen (Alma 19:16).
