The plains of Agosh were the site of a battle in the final wars of the Jaredites. Lib, having driven Coriantumr’s army back to the wilderness of Akish, pursued Coriantumr until he reached the plains of Agosh. Coriantumr, who had taken all his people with him as he fled, turned and gave battle there, and he killed Lib. Lib’s brother Shiz then came against Coriantumr in his stead, and Coriantumr again fled before Shiz’s army (Ether 14:15-17).
