그러한즉 거룩하신 이가 주신 율법의 목적은, 부가된 형벌을 가하는 데 이르나니 부가된 이 형벌은 부가된 행복과 반대가 되는 것인 바, 이는 속죄의 목적에 부응하기 위한 것이니－
