Chariots

Chariots are objects that King Lamoni commanded his servants to prepare. Lamoni commanded them to “prepare his horses and chariots, and conduct him forth to the land of Nephi” for a feast appointed by his father (Alma 18:9). Ammon was preparing Lamoni’s horses and chariots, and Lamoni said that Ammon remembered his commandments to execute them (Alma 18:10).

Ammon “had made ready the horses and the chariots for the king and his servants” before entering Lamoni’s presence (Alma 18:12). Under Lachoneus’s proclamation, the people took “their horses, and their chariots, and their cattle” while marching to the appointed gathering place (3 Nephi 3:22).
